Either 888.com has been down or unaccessible to bots for a while or Google have got really pissed of with them trying to play the search engines.

888.com dont really do any bad stuff but they have some techniques on their website that i wouldn’t feel comfortable explaining to the anti spam dood Matt Cutts if i was responsible for that site.

Yesterday they had a sweet long title and description and today it seems Google is just reading the backlink anchor text and not the site.

This will be very interesting to watch and i am sure there are people running round in the 888.com offices getting rather worried.
